A change in weather heralds a change in our wardrobe as fall brings us back to the opportunity to layer pieces, feel cozy yet chic in richer fabrics, and return to wearing fabulous footwear, like boots, again. A good foundation in our closet begins with pieces that are evergreen - those special items gathered over time, that have a permanent place from season to season. From there we build with new staples that are on-trend, and having consideration in our purchasing, choose items that are both kind to our planet and will stand the test of time. Nothing is a greater investment than the health of Mother Earth or consideration for others who live here, including our animal friends, and it’s an exciting time as vegan fashion continues to evolve into superior materials, designs and manufacturing. Now choosing plant-based pieces and being sustainably chic from head-to-toe, has never been easier or more in-vogue. Vegan fashion has come a long way, baby . . . Here are some of our favorite signature pieces for 2020 that while being cruelty-free and eco-conscious, add a little va-va-vroom to our fall style.
A jumpsuit is a must-have in any stylish girl’s closet, perfect for any occasion when we need to look a little chic. We love this for its compact knit, fitted waist and one-shoulder detail, and with its wide leg, we can pair it with boots, a strappy sandal or vegan sneakers and always look good. Made in Italy from 83% sustainable viscose, this stretchy little number can be traced all the way back to the forest.

Even as the cooler temperatures arrive, a feminine strappy sandal is a must in our closet. Paired with a dress or with skinnies and accessorized with a chic jacket and purse, a great sandal elegantly completes the look. Beyond its beauty, the Venus are fashioned with cruelty-free uppers made from recycled plastic bottles, making a powerful statement beyond their polished style.

The classic Baguette never goes out of fashion, especially when it’s made with snake-embossed vegan leather and utilizes recycled plastic bottles in its lining. Large enough to carry our essentials (phone, id, credit card, keys and lip gloss),it’s the perfect purse to add a rock’n’roll edge to any outfit, especially with the environment's well being at this brand’s core.

A biker jacket is a timeless piece in any girl’s wardrobe, adding a little cool to any look. This beauty doesn’t disappoint having all the traditional details associated with a classic motorcycle jacket, but races beyond in its materials and ethos. Matt & Nat are pioneers in vegan and sustainable accessories having launched in 1995 with bags, and committing to only using recycled plastic bottles in their linings in 2007. This keeper will never lose its edge.
